Building upon our experience in guiding primary care practices through the process of selecting and implementing an electronic medical record (EMR) system, Qualis Health's team is now focusing on helping practices reach the next level—to fully capitalize on EMR functionality, streamline workflow, and improve care.
While our in-depth, personalized assistance is available only to those practices participating in the current Medicare-sponsored initiative, any practice may access our related tools and resources as well as success stories describing local practices' transition to using EMRs.
| Starting as early as next year, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will make incentive payments to healthcare providers who demonstrate “meaningful use” of EMRs. Practices that meet all the requirements could earn incentives of up to $44,000 from Medicare or $63,750 from Medicaid. Our region's new HIT extension center (WIREC) can help you reach meaningful use as efficiently as possible. Primary care practices may be eligible to receive WIREC consulting at no charge.
